Edinburgh
Airport is Scotland's capital airport. More than 40
airlines serve 100-plus destinations and some nine
million passengers a year pass through the airport
– figures which are set to grow as Scotland's
international connections develop.
Edinburgh
Airport (EDI) is the principal international gateway
to Scotland's historic capital city and the border
region of southern Scotland. Around eight million

Edinburgh
International Airport is conveniently located 8 miles
(12 kilometres) west of Edinburgh, with fast transport
links to the city centre and to Scotland's second
largest city, Glasgow. Currently, buses connect to
Edinburgh's main train stations at Waverley and Haymarket,
though construction of a new Edinburgh Airport Rail
Link from 2007 would connect the airport to stations
throughout Scotland, along with tram services.
EDI
Airport offers a good choice of bars, restaurants
and shops, banks, ATMs, business, baby care and disabled
traveller amenities, plus choice of car hire and parking
options, tourist information desks and first aid facilities.
The terminal building at EDI has been extensively
